Making
Up Missed Meetings
Your
Regular Attendance Is Important
The attendance record
of your club is a measure of the interest and activity of its
members. Regular attendance is required for all active Rotary
members. Rotary makes this easy for you by allowing you to make
up missed meetings at any other club.
Rotary is built upon fellowship and friendship
which depends upon being at the meetings. It is understood that
among busy people a problem of attendance may arise. If members
miss meetings, they are privileged to "make-up" at
any club in the world. The time and place of each meeting in
District 5170 is listed below for your convenience.
Each make-up affords Rotarians a great
opportunity to broaden their acquaintance and to bring back to
their club information and ideas that can improve club operations
and programs.
If members miss four consecutive meetings,
they are automatically terminated. Each member must attend 60%
of the regular meetings of his home club during each half year
unless exempted by the club's Board
of Directors.
